HAYS Manufacturing has partnered with an amazing equipment manufacturing company, to provide support to their Customer Service team.
Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and troubleshooting? In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the installation and servicing of equipment, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone support for commercial and residential boilers, burners, tanks, controls, and related products.
- Coordinate troubleshooting of heating systems with contractors, sales representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Recommend service parts to field contractors and coordinate with Inside Sales.
- Assist field technicians, sales representatives, and other staff as required.
- Provide technical support outside regular business hours as needed (note: no requirement to carry a mobile phone for on-call duty, except in exceptional circumstances).
- Report product service issues to the Assistant Technical Service Manager regularly or as required.
- Perform extraordinary and additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Technical courses in Plumbing, Heating, and Controls, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing and servicing heating equipment is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Motivated and willing to demonstrate own initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable with strong organizational skills.
