The Opportunity
The Recruiter at Prosper Immigration is a key player in the recruitment process, handling everything from job advertisement to onboarding. This role combines responsibilities that ensure a smooth and effective recruitment cycle, focusing on candidate sourcing, screening, placement, and follow-up.
In addition to recruiting across diverse industries, the Recruiter will have a strong focus on technical recruitment, ensuring that highly skilled candidates are matched with employers seeking expertise in fields such as construction, automobile, and technology.
You will manage the entire candidate journey, from posting ads to following up after their first week of work, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded in the CRM system.
What You Will Do
Job Posting and Advertisement:
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms, ensuring they are up-to-date and tailored to attract the right candidates.
- Monitor and maintain job listings, adjusting as necessary to maximize visibility and applicant flow.
Resume Screening and Candidate Contact:
- Screen resumes to identify qualified candidates that align with specific job vacancies, including technical roles requiring specialized skills.
- Reach out to screened candidates to initiate the recruitment process, gathering additional information as needed.
CRM Management and Candidate Profiling:
- Enter candidate information into the CRM system accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records throughout the recruitment process.
- Create detailed candidate profiles on company letterheads based on one-on-one interviews and resume reviews, ensuring a professional and comprehensive presentation of each candidate.
Matching Candidates to Vacancies:
- Match the right candidate profiles to the appropriate vacancies, considering both the candidates' qualifications and the employers' needs.
- Prioritize matching candidates for highly technical positions, ensuring the right expertise is found.
- Submit well-matched candidate profiles to Recruitment Account Managers for further consideration.
Candidate Engagement and Presentation:
- Present potential job positions to candidates, ensuring they understand the roles and responsibilities.
- Prepare candidates for interviews with employers, offering tips and guidance to help them succeed.
Job Offer Preparation and Onboarding:
- Prepare job offers for candidates selected by employers, ensuring all terms are clearly communicated and understood.
- Schedule and conduct orientations with both employers and candidates, facilitating a smooth onboarding process.
Follow-Up and Candidate Support:
- Follow up with candidates 7 days after their start date to check on their adjustment and experience during the first week.
- Provide ongoing support to both candidates and employers, addressing any issues that arise during the initial employment period.
Data Tracking and Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment-related data is accurately tracked and entered into the CRM system, maintaining detailed records of candidate interactions and progress.
- Generate reports on recruitment activities, offering insights and recommendations for process improvements.
What You Bring to the Role
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
- Strong experience in job posting, resume screening, and candidate interviewing.
- Proficiency in technical recruitment, sourcing candidates for specialized roles such as IT, engineering, and other technical fields.
- Proficiency in CRM systems like Zoho and Salesforce and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and employers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of Canadian immigration processes, particularly the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, is an asset.
