OSL (Outsourced Sales Leadership) was established in 2012 in Mississauga, Ontario, to provide clients with customized designed sales solutions in retail, direct sales, merchandising and customer acquisition.


About the role:

OSL leads the sales and operations of Seasonal Programs within Walmart Stores across Canada. The Regional Lead for seasonal programs will report to the Regional Operations Director and be responsible for the sales, customer service, and the development of Master Builders and Bike staff. This role will support a regional territory to oversee the building, safe display and storage of bikes and other seasonal builds. There is approximately 50% travel days per week, including frequent store visits.


Region: Greater Toronto East, Trenton, Kingston

Candidate Required Skills:

  • Acts with professionalism, integrity, and leads by example, negotiates for the best outcome for all parties, balancing the company, client and employee
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Strong management, coaching, and leadership skills with retail experience a strong asset, has hired and managed employees
  • 2-3 years multi-unit supervision and management experience an asset
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, results driven, organized and the ability to make decisions
  • Computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Flexible to work beyond traditional business hours, holidays, evenings and weekend periods
  • Ability to travel within region 50%-75% of the week
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, appease your client and the customer
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment



Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to learn or have previous skills building bikes and other furniture/patio as needed
  • Move, stand, push, pull heavier boxes, raise items above shoulder height, climb ladders up to 50lbs.



A little more about the role and responsibilities:

  • Ability to proactively recruit new team members and ensure recruiting needs are met based on the need of the business
  • Build out schedules for assigned territories based on the needs of the business
  • Establish targets to ensure sales results are achieved
  • Ensures self and team members are up to date on all operational procedures, product knowledge and are utilizing the tools provided
  • Lead the training sessions of Master Builders and Build Crew
  • Creates strategies for underperforming locations
  • Proactively build a relationship with our clients, staff and internal business partners
  • Responsible for building and assembling seasonal products as required
  • On-Season focus is Bikes and Seasonal, Off-Season responsibilities include supporting the client for deepening OSL’s relationship and value. This includes supporting OSL’s other lines of business as needed
