Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to manage small to medium-sized projects within the Personal and Commercial Banking unit.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage PMO best practices to create and execute project plans, ensuring stakeholder needs are met, clear deliverables are articulated, and project objectives are achieved within established timelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and engage teams to deliver project outcomes, acting as the escalation point to resolve conflicts and remove barriers.
  • Manage project scope, requirements changes, and competing priorities, effectively balancing budget, time, and risk.
  • Provide guidance on project initiatives, including business case preparation and developing innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Oversee project closure activities, such as client satisfaction surveys and closure analyses.
  • Produce and present monthly project status reports, escalating critical issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promote agile practices, implement best methods, and collaborate across teams to achieve results.


Must-Have Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, ideally in IT or financial services.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, Mural, and SharePoint.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio; familiarity with MS Project is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations (e.g., tax slips, tax flows for registered and non-registered plans).

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical and creative thinker, thriving in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Emerald migration components.
  • Experience managing Personal and Commercial Banking projects.
