Director of Sales

The Sales Director will lead a growing asset backed transportation company, driving revenue growth and profitability within the truck transportation sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the mixed-experience sales team to maximize performance.
- Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators for sales team effectiveness.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
