The Sales Director will lead a growing asset backed transportation company, driving revenue growth and profitability within the truck transportation sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the mixed-experience sales team to maximize performance.
  • Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators for sales team effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
