Align Orthodontics has an exciting full-time, permanent opening, looking for a talented Certified Dental Assistant with their Orthodontic Module to join our team Canadian Orthodontic Partners provides support services to Align and our national network of community-based clinics in delivering personalized Orthodontic treatment. Position Summary

The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient and caring manner

Position Tasks

Knowledge in clinical procedures for both orthodontics and TMJ management

Effectively and efficiently manage clinic schedule and procedure timings

Electronic patient charting

Asepsis protocol management

Patient treatment communications and education


Requirements:

  • Member of the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA)
  • Registered Dental Assistant with Ortho Module
  • Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
  • Intermediate experience with Windows based computer systems and patient management and imaging software
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of orthodontic appliances, instruments, materials and equipment
  • Must speak, read and write English fluently

Location of Work

A requirement of this position is to work in both the Edmonton Hewes and Sherwood Park locations
