Position Summary: Broadening the partnerships and knowledge about our community and throughout the general community. By educating key organizations and other potential referral connections, they will serve as the external face and voice of the community. The ultimate objective for this role is to uncover general area insights and to build community awareness that will generate strategies to grow the community lead base in order to increase occupancy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with community Executive Directors and Sales & Marketing Directors in developing and executing community awareness plans and strategies to increase the prospect lead base.
- Strategically seek out, partner with, and act as the spokesperson for all trade shows and other events to build community awareness.
- Conduct community presentations about specific services and programs, market advantages, availability, and other relevant information to meet the needs of various community groups.
- Provide feedback to the marketing department regarding customers’ insights and questions.
- Work directly with each community Sales & Marketing Director in gaining full knowledge of the competitive landscape along with their products and services.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the lead management system, sales processes, and forms for external and internal sales to perform job duties, track information, compile data and achieve desired community occupancy goals.
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with senior organizations, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, retirement communities, churches and other local community contacts that will help facilitate a stronger lead base.
- Grow the referral base by planning, coordinating, and implementing monthly referral source and community group activities and events.
- Complete outside marketing and sales calls to meet or exceed established goals per week.
- Partner with the Executive Director and Sales & Marketing Director in managing the marketing budget and evaluating the successful implementation of marketing funds associated with building the brand within the community.
- Work directly with the community Sales & Marketing Director in aligning social media marketing of the community with any outreach opportunities.
- Oversee and coordinate with the community Executive Directors and Sales & Marketing Directors all reputation management elements online in order to execute on response plans to any and all reviews in a timely fashion.
- Work with the Executive Director and the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure accuracy of all community marketing material.
- Assist with the proofing and distribution of ad material to all community advertising partners.
- Support the Community Leadership Team in all aspects of their work which includes but is not limited to the creation of reports, preparing material for meetings, and scheduling of meetings and events.
- Manage all current Brightwater branded promotional items along with making suggestions for other new and creative products to promote Brightwater to the general public, residents, families and team members.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, writing and communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction, meet timelines and work on a multitude of projects at one time.
- Comfortable developing new community relationships through face-to-face contact.
- Adaptable to fast-paced work environment with repetitive and monotonous projects.
- Creative, innovative, and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion.
- Strong work ethic with a high level of integrity both in and out of the work environment.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Professional level of organization.
- Preferred knowledge in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in both a team and rapidly changing environment.
- Able to drive to and be on location for events and functions with the strong probability of standing for a length of time.
