About the role
We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team
This opportunity will be based out of our Mississauga, 6925 Century Ave office location and will require the successful candidate to attend in office a minimum of 2 days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
What you'll do here:
- Perform a variety of administrative duties requiring a good working knowledge of standard methods and established procedures.
- Provide administrative support for the proper functioning of the underwriting department (reception, mail, inventories, equipment, purchases, maintenance, budget, reservations, etc.).
- Make travel arrangements for branch staff.
- Read and route incoming mail and emails to the various departments through out the company
- Compose and type routine correspondence.
- Compile and type statistical reports for the Underwriting team.
- Work with the team members and management to create and execute various engagement activities.
- May administer many aspects involving building maintenance, office equipment maintenance, I.T. contacts, telephone systems, vacation schedule and payables.
What you bring to the table:
- At least 1 year of experience handling administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
