Job Description:

Join Welocalize for a fantastic opportunity that merges linguistic and technical tasks. We are looking for Localization QA Testers / Proofreaders proficient in French from Canada for a project based in Austin, Texas. If you possess native fluency and strong technical skills, then this long-term role with no fixed end date might be the perfect fit for you.

The responsibilities include conducting test cases, identifying localization bugs, reporting them internally, and verifying the fixes. The ideal candidate will excel in linguistic abilities.

Job Requirements:

  • On-Site in Austin, TX
  • W-2 (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)
  • Monday-Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm with one hour lunch break - 35 hours per week)
  • Valid work visa for the USA required

Welocalize takes various factors into account when determining compensation, such as location, job complexity, skill level, and experience.

Hourly flat rate: $28

Requirements:
  • Native-level fluency in the respective language
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in translation
  • Tech-savvy with web-based systems testing experience on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and work with diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Experience with test cases, scripts, and bug tracking systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Can handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
