Role Description
We are looking to add a LiveOps QA Tester to our growing team. The hours for this position are 2PM - 10 PM EST and it is a fully remote position. You will be reporting to both the LiveOps producer and QA Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Run daily gameplay test suites on the live version of the game
  • Write daily reports on the status of your daily tests
  • Ensure that our bug database is always uptodate with highquality bug reports and test passes.
  • Work closely with the entire team to understand and reproduce bugs during the development of new features.
  • Run post release checks after each patch
  • Investigate reports submitted from members of our community and log them onto JIRA
  • Participate in public beta playtests + assisting/participating in filming for marketing shoots
  • Occasionally support the production QA team with larger scale group tests

Requirements:

  • Experience as a QA Tester at a game studio/software company (13 years is ideal)
  • Able to work well in a fast paced team environment able to pick up skills and games quickly
  • Experience with JIRA and test management tools (TestRail, Testpad, Zephyr, etc.)
  • Experience writing and executing test plans
  • Proven ability to write highquality repro steps
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience testing in VR
  • Experience testing multiplayer games
  • Experiencing with LiveOps games
  • Familiarity with Unity game engine
