Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage government stakeholders and secure grants and funding opportunities for MSM.
  • Identify and research potential government grant programs and funding sources relevant to MSM's objectives and initiatives.
  • Build relationships with government officials, agencies, and departments involved in grant administration and funding allocation.
  • Monitor government announcements, policy changes, and funding priorities to identify new opportunities and assess potential impacts on MSM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop grant proposals, including project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure alignment with funding requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate with external partners, consultants, and stakeholders to support grantrelated activities and initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging government grant and funding strategy issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements for government grants and funding agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in government relations, grant writing, public affairs, or related roles, preferably in the media or communications industry.
  • Strong understanding of government grant programs, funding mechanisms, and regulatory requirements related to media and communications.
  • Excellent communication skills, including communicating effectively with government officials, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, develop plans, and execute strategies to achieve grant funding objectives.
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detailoriented, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in grant proposal development and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software/tools.
