Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Create innovative menus and develop new recipes
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training when needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
  • Monitor food costs and manage inventory efficiently
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Understanding of food safety practices and health regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in team management within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in food handling and preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Pay:
$17.36-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
