Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our team.

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.

You will supervise 50 to 100 employees. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and meet production goals
  • Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring resources are allocated effectively
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Train, mentor, and motivate manufacturing staff to achieve performance targets
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team for timely procurement of materials
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or similar role in a fastpaced metal fabrication welding / machine manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to welding and machine fabrication, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Proficient in using manufacturing software systems for planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • Assess and determine best utilization of manufacturing staff.
  • Observe and optimize work habits of manufacturing staff for the purpose of improvement.
  • Prepare and present proposals for improvements with justification.
  • Complete the above based on previous experience and knowledge of the relevant processes.
  • Manage manufacturing production levels and confirm output and appropriate efficiency of same.
  • Run and confirm reports that provide information relative to production output and efficiency. Address discrepancies or concerns.
  • Meet and communicate with Senior Management, Peer Management and others as required.
  • Work cooperatively and diligently with other departments and areas of the company.
