What you will do:

  • Provides general support to the international recruitment department including the International Admissions Advisors and the Associate Directors.
  • Responds in a timely, professional manner to student, parent, agent and school partner inquiries, answers questions related to programs, courses, and student life by phone, on social media and in person.
  • Assists admissions team in collection of documents from students, international students, and agents.
  • Maintains uptodate records both hard copy (physical student files) and electronically (Salesforce).
  • Works closely with the International Admissions Office, Enrolment Services, Registrar's Office and other value centres, as required, to ensure all completed files are reaching the appropriate committees in a timely fashion.
  • May be called upon for various data collection projects as it relates to the Admissions Department.
  • Responsible for providing various reports to management and executive management
  • Other administrative tasks as required

What you bring:

  • An undergraduate degree in related area preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a university admissions setting is preferred.
  • 2 years administrative and customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Expert knowledge of MS office
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in maintaining files and records
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, reflecting a periodically heavy workload.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language preferred.
