You will:

  • Support BU's operation to Global Quality Policies and capture operational feedback to help keep them up to date
  • Deploy Food Safety programs in area of responsibility (BU/Category/Corporate)
  • Ensure Risk Assessment is employed as the key decision making approach for Product, Process and Package Design Safety
  • Riskbased Food Safety verification for Suppliers, internal/external plants and warehouses.
  • Support effective management of operational Food Safety challenges at factories including disposition decision making based on risk assessment and advice on risk management interactions with authorities.
  • Influence and partner with cross functional peers, effectively communicating how Food Safety supports our company values
  • Implement a Food Safety culture across the organization

What you need to know about this position:

Scope


Work closely with Plant Sanitation and Quality to develop, implement, and support sanitation and pest control program improvements in US manufacturing locations.

This position provides the opportunity to interact with cross-functional (corporate quality, corporate food safety and R&D for MDLZ and each Venture company) teams to ensure company programs and policies are met.

This individual should possess project management skills, experience in quality, manufacturing, or R&D, and familiarity with quality/food safety requirements. Success in this role will require teamwork, influencing skills, strong technical skills and knowledge.

How you will contribute


The Corporate Sanitation Coordinator will work closely with MDLZ Venture Corporate leaders (Quality and Manufacturing), Plant Sanitation and Plant Quality to develop, implement, and support sanitation controls program, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), pest control program and hygienic equipment and infrastructure design at the assigned manufacturing locations.

This position is a regular interface with other members of cross-functional teams to ensure company programs and policies are met or to troubleshoot during unexpected issues that may arise.


You will manage the communication of best practices, implementing policies, troubleshooting and problem solving and supporting plant activities on specific projects.

There is also a strong link to CI (Continuous Improvement), productivity and efficiency initiatives, as sanitation and quality are integral partners in simplification and improvement programs.


Another area of focus is related with people capability as this position plays crucial role to support Learning and Development program (People Technical Capability Building) of the individuals working in the plants related with sanitation programs and MDLZ food safety policies such allergen control and management and sanitation verification practices.


Support and actively participate in assigned CoP (Community of practices) within a global scale in order to implement the best practices in US/NA with counterparts in other regions.


Success in this role will require teamwork, influencing skills, problem solving, strong technical skills, strong communication skills and knowledge and drive for results.

Provide leadership and expertise for Mondelez Venture Manufacturing plants in implementing and ensuring compliance to Mondelez sanitation policy including, but not limited to:

  • Pest Control, GMPs, Hygienic Design, and Sanitation standards
  • Will be expected to support the MDLZ Ventures business unit comprised of 5 companies located within the North America, US and Canada.
