Shift: Night Shift (11:00PM - 7:30AM) Sunday to Thursday with overtime - work week subject to change
Wage: $21.25/Hour
POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently hiring a General Bakery Sanitor responsible for completing tasks assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor. Can effectively prepare general sanitation chemicals and equipment cleaning requirements on all lines along with general housekeeping.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS: Responsible for completing tasks assigned from master sanitation program for the facility and for special assignments as determined by the Sanitation Supervisor. Utilize and maintain in-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers). Understand, follow and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required. Understand, follow and maintain all sanitation programs and requirements. QUALIFICATIONS:
Physical Requirement: Bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, pulling/ pushing equipment etc. Ability to work with others. Occasional heavy lifting assisted by a partner of lbs. Occasional frequent exertion of up to 35 lbs of force. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be prepared to work extra hours when required. Must have excellent work and attendance record. WORKING CONDITIONS: Warm and humid working environment. Hot and cold working environment. Fast-paced manufacturing, repetitive tasks, and stand for extended hours. Physically demanding, heavy lifting, must be able to handle weight up to 100lbs.
