Duration: 12 months

Our client, a prominent financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is seeking a Program Manager – Regulatory to lead, direct, and oversee activities for planning, delivery, and implementation to ensure enterprise-wide program regulatory goals and objectives are achieved within approved time frames, scope, and budget. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in Role:

  • Lead large regulatory programs in accordance with standard project management discipline.
  • Oversee end-to-end program execution, including creating a business case, governance structure, artifacts, risks and issues, financials, and driving business and regulatory mandate.
  • Design, establish, and monitor the program's project management goals, focusing on meeting milestones and key deliveries across the project timelines.
  • Integrate plans at the program level, create scope, refine plans, and manage performance against them.
  • Lead financial reviews and planning sessions, facilitate schedule/cost forecasting.
  • Build strong relationships with Sponsors and Business/Technology Owners; Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve objectives.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience managing cross-enterprise programs as the accountable project leader.
  • Demonstrated and extensive experience working with Regulation programs.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in Financial Services Business or Technology, Experience in Cyber Security.
  • Ability to plan a large-scale regulatory program with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Deadline-driven and purposeful; able to consistently meet high-quality standards with simultaneous workstreams.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Agile and other Project Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, Prince 2, Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
  • Experience working in a technology, financial services organization with cross-border operations.
