Our training programs are also a leader in the security industry, and they will help prepare you for advancements, as well as build your resume for a potential career in law enforcement.


  • Oversee the training of all new hires
  • Track site required training i.e. first aid, CPR, Use of force
  • Track security license expiry
  • Schedule off site & on site training
  • Creating new
- hire personnel files

  • Implement training for new procedures
  • Maintain training records (training matrix)
  • Ensure all training exercises are adequately documented and that files are maintained

Strategic objectives

  • Oversee the department's weekly training schedule through the use of gap analysis. (this can be done with the proper usage of the weekly agenda)
  • Utilize performance, staff evaluations and consultation to develop training strategies for each team member.
  • Maintain and oversee all department operating procedures including SOP, Crisis manual and emergency response including required updates and adjustments to reflect changes in policy and procedure.
  • Contribute to overall morale and motivation of staff through training.

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites:

  • Immunization Record
  • A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written)

Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement:

  • First Aid & CPR
  • Level C
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior
  • Use of Force
  • Report Writing
  • Additional courses as assigned

Upon hire successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses:
