Position Summary:

Reporting to:

Senior Accountant:

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Review, sort and match all invoices within a specified time.
  • Review all payment requests and issue cheques, EFTs, ACHs and wires to requestor in a timely manner.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies on a timely basis.
  • Posting of Employee Expenses.
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
  • Process all invoice payments for both domestic and foreign accounts.
  • Monitor Company accounts to ensure that payments are up to date and available discounts are taken.
  • Assist in month end closing and A/P account reconciliations.
  • Switchboard Relief.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Controller or Senior Accountant.

Key Attributes:

  • Able to work effectively in accounting software such as AccPac and Intuitive (or ERP system such as Epicore).
  • Above average working knowledge of Excel.

Desired Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
