Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in the senior living industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Selfmotivated and targetdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • An affinity for the senior population and a good understanding of their needs.
  • Familiarity with or willing to become familiar with the standards set out in the Retirement Homes Act, 2010 (RHA) and the function of the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA).
  • Demonstrated face to face sales experience an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the community and the geographic regions near the home.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with individuals.
  • Good communication skills; both oral and written. Good public relation skills.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Outreach and Relationship Building:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our senior living community at community events, local businesses, and organizations to raise awareness and build relationships.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, social workers, senior centers, and other relevant community organizations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to enhance community visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Attend networking events, seminars, and conferences to promote the senior living community and establish a strong presence in the local community.

Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Implement effective sales strategies to generate leads, conduct outreach activities, and follow up with prospective residents and their families.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify potential leads and market trends, adapting sales techniques accordingly.
  • Conduct tours of the senior living community, effectively showcasing the amenities, services, and benefits to prospective residents and their families.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and manage leads, ensuring accurate and uptodate information.

Marketing Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute outreach campaigns, including direct mailings, online advertisements, social media initiatives, and other marketing materials.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of community events, seminars, and workshops aimed at educating and engaging the target audience.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with current residents, families, and staff, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct followup calls and visits with residents and families to address any concerns, provide assistance, and foster a sense of community.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure a seamless transition and admission process for new residents, including regular communication with families.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, including census, lead generation, conversion rates, and community outreach activities.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management regarding sales strategies, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
  • Uphold and promote the values and philosophy of Autumnwood.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned.
Salary to commensurate with experience. This is a non-unionized position at Marina Point Village LP.
