The Manager, Openings & Optimizations, Alternate Channels is accountable leading a team (Specialists, Sr.

Specialist & Program Manager) and for the innovation and maintenance of all preopen/closure programming for our Outlet, Pop Up, Event Pop Up (i.e.

Wundermost, 10K Tour), Olympic, Campus and Arena programs in collaboration with a variety of cross functional teams.

A conduit between SSC, internal and external field teams, we rely on this leader to advocate for IDEA across all tools & resources, identify trends and drive efficiency in process to meet target open dates and scale each retail category for future growth.


a day in the life:
what you'll do

  • Accountable for the maintenance and elevation of preopen and closure resources that support SSC + internal/external retail teams in the field in fulfilling their respective deliverables in accordance with project timelines.
  • Lead retail teams through their project life cycle in a dynamic way and drive timely cross functional collaboration/resolution in response to urgent escalations.
  • Lead cross functional meetings and provide recommendations for future.
  • Manage a team of ~4 individual contributors. Accountable for performance management and supporting their professional and personal development through regular PACE and Career Pathway conversations.
  • SSC

Cross Functional Partners:

provides the essential tools & resources for all partners that are connected to openings, optimizations, and closures to manage their work, identify risk and gaps in process/programming.


  • Retail Partners: visibility into the holistic preopen/closure process with clearly defined accountabilities and escalation channels.
qualifications

  • Program Management, Strategic Thinking, Leadership certification(s) are an asset.
  • 35 years leading teams
  • O&O project experience, specifically within the Alternate Channels portfolio, is an asset
  • Demonstrated success driving results through others on direct team and in cross functional collaborations (key skills: vision, program creation/strategy and enrollment)
  • Highly organized, with a knack for managing multiple priorities and capturing feedback in real time to inform change quickly.
  • Thrive in fast paced and often ambiguous/unknown project landscapes.
  • Experience facilitating to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to: senior leaders, external partners and retail teams
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
