Position Overview:

As an Administrative Assistant 3, you'll play a vital role in supporting the administration of ODG.

Reporting to the Associate Program Director or Administrative Coordinator, you'll handle data entry tasks, draft documents, liaise with external parties, and provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.


Duties:

  • Performs word processing and data entry duties such as inputting client information, processing enrollment data, maintaining the relevant database and files, updating manuals, and preparing reports, letters and presentation material.
  • Arranges meetings as directed, books meeting rooms, and types and circulates notices and agendas. Transcribes and distributes notes and minutes of meetings.

  • Receives, records, checks, and balances cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a petty cash account.

Note:

Qualifications That Set You Up for Success:

Education and Experience:
Hold a Grade 12 certificate, Office Administration Certificate, and at least one year of recent, related experience. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training will also be considered.

Language Skills:
Fluent in both English and French, with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing is an asset

Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications and typing speed of 60 w.p.m. Knowledge and experience with various databases are considered assets.

Must pass a criminal background check.


As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Open Door Group must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Proof of vaccination status will be required.
