We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined
Labourer: to join our Maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and coordinate equipment service, blade maintenance, and screen changes.
  • Perform scheduled/assigned equipment cleaning service maintenance,
  • Complete Field Level Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use documents
  • Participate in Safety Toolbox and Team meetings
  • Encourage and participate in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, performance and drive annual objectives.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the Maintenance and Production staff to prioritize equipment needs and repair.
  • Immediately report any concerns or issues directly to Supervisor
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform any general labor duties as required to meet operational objectives.

Core Competencies:

  • Mechanically inclined and skilled to use standard hand tools.
  • Quick to learn with the ability to follow instructions and seek clarity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to recognize the environmental factors and risks that enable and support safety in the workplace.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and work with limited supervision.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete reports as required.
  • Ability to multitask and meet objectives/deliverables.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience, ideally in a Manufacturing/Production setting
  • Fall Protection and Aerial Lift/Scissor Lift Certification considered an asset
