The Automotive Service Advisor communicates directly with customers, managing their needs regarding automotive service repairs/maintenance. Your automotive knowledge and customer service skills will serve as a liaison between technician and the customer.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and in person, identifying their needs
  • Accurately record information for estimates
  • Estimate cost and time for repairs. Confirm appointments
  • Assist in the increase sales volume of the service department
  • Take accountability to complete and control the status of work orders
  • Process Work orders via register
  • Review work orders with customers
  • Act as liaison between customer and technician
  • Operate computerized work order system via Costar/AMS Program
  • Maintain professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)
  • Follow corporate, store and department policies
  • Participate in meetings and all training as required, developing and maintaining service, operations and health & safety knowledge through eLearning and other resources
  • Valid driver's licence to assist with bringing vehicles in/out of the shop if required
The position would be for evening and weekend shifts with the opportunity to grow within the company.

Job Type:
Part-time

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:

Automotive Service: 1 year (preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

In person
