RESPONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Assist Partners with any major financial decisions
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions
  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
  • Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
  • Managing the budget process
  • Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes
  • Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
  • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
  • Hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff
Job Requirements: YOU WILL NEED:
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, 2+ years in a leadership role
  • A degree/diploma in accounting, or related field of study
  • CPA designation is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with and reviewing billable hours (such as in public accounting, legal, etc.)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the business's finances and overall operations
