Role SummaryThe Shipping Team is responsible for creating an extraordinary service experience for our Spa Partners, Retail Customer and Onliners by picking, packing, and shipping all orders within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

As the Shipping Team Lead, you will have a hands-on role supporting the Fulfillment Manager in leading the Canadian Shipping Teams daily operations.

You will lead, train, and develop the Shipping Clerks, all while ensuring the daily SLAs are met. In addition, you will support International and Tradeshow fulfillment. ResponsibilitiesOversee all shipping tasks to ensure the highest quality and efficiency for all North American Spa, Onliners and Retail ordersLead regular scheduled one-on-one meetings with Team-members and provide continuous feedback and prepare and lead annual performance reviews for Team-membersManage conflicts tactfully and facilitate constructive communication between Team-membersLead and participate with Team-members in daily activities and help drive continuous improvement activities aligned with company initiativesFollow company procedures for opening and closing the warehouse outside of normal daily business hoursMonitor Team-member quality to ensure that all orders are picked, packed and shipped promptly and accuratelyLead the fulfillment of all Launch Mailing orders (to reps, media)

Support picking, packing, and shipping of all international ordersOrient and train Team-members/new hires on product warehouse policies and procedures (i.e.

punctuality, job requirements, techniques, quality issues, communication channels, safety, housekeeping, and other expectations, etc.)Discuss performance issues promptly with Team-members and manage the performance improvement processMonitor and communicate progress on key team goals and company-wide initiatives to Team-membersConduct regularly scheduled one-on-ones with Team-membersEnsure adherence to safe work practices, policies and procedures and provide feedback on any occupational health hazard and safety issuesParticipate in the Safety Committee and attend training as requiredEnsure highest level of security for buildings, equipment and productPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift over 35lbs comfortably and regularlyMust be able to stand, walk, band and crouch for extended periods of timeQualificationsLeadership experience of direct reports - minimum 2 years Experience working in a warehouse environment and using warehouse equipment – minimum 2 yearsContinuous improvement - assetInventory experience – assetSuperior interpersonal skillsMultitasking and prioritizing capabilities Proven problem-solving skillsFlexibility and adaptability Conflict resolution skillsAbility to exercise discretion and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making when under pressureExceptional attention to detailExperience with ERP system (Sage 300) is an assetComputer skills (knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)Total RewardsCompetitive salary, quarterly and annual bonuses based on individual and company goals100% employer-paid premiums for extended health, health spending account, wellness program, green transportation incentive, various paid time-off options available from your first day, and product discountsFocus on professional development, 1:1 meetings with your leader, tuition assistance program and length of service rewardsThe ApplicationPlease submit a resume with a cover letter.
