Role Overview

The Events Manager is responsible for bringing events to life, working closely with business, sales, and marketing leaders.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration with each business unit, designing events that reinforce the BoomerangFX brand, strengthen our market positioning, drive client engagement, and enhance relationships that deliver revenue.

As the Events Coordinator, you must have a strong background in events and project management and have the capability to deliver multiple events, manage logistics efficiently, whilst providing a memorable experience in line with our Brand Image guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage event strategy plans, proposals, recommendations, and outside vendor statements of work and contracts.
  • Work directly with content owners and creatives to help structure, build, and manage presentations and own final changes.
  • Own event sponsorship, registration, technology, venue and food/beverage planning, signage, accommodations, property sourcing, selection and contract negotiations, vendor/customer relations, and other logistics & administrative tasks.
  • Manage all budget and related financial responsibilities with strong negotiation skills when confirming the best price from venues, suppliers, and contractors, and provide detailed postshow expense reporting.
  • Schedule all travel including flights, hotel, and venues.
  • Measure and report success of BoomerangFX sponsored events.
  • Lead postmortem analysis and recommendations for future event improvement.
Qualifications

  • You have 3+ years of experience working in event management with increasing levels of ownership.
  • You are eager to deliver actionable outcomes and find creative solutions to complex initiatives.
  • You have thoughtful communication skills and experience managing a variety of stakeholders across different teams.
  • You have a proven ability to prioritize tasks that maximize your impact while working independently.
  • You have an affinity for traveling and are eager to work events in different cities within the United States (no restrictions to work in the US and travel to Canada without any restrictions).
