Position Summary

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Sciences, Management Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent required
  • Experience in data management and IT solution implementation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in database design, development, reporting, and data visualization are essential.
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard development with Tableau is required.
  • Certified in Health Information Management is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years' experience in health care, provincial and national health care information systems and data standards.
  • Minimum three years' experience in hospital information systems, operations, decision support, and utilization of metrics to drive business performance
  • Minimum three years' experience working in a health care data analytics role utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau and Crystal Reports
  • Proven project management expertise
  • Experience working with clinical, financial, or administrative datasets within acute care settings, LHINs, or other healthcare sectors will be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of selfservice analytic/ETL tools
