The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Bureau Commander, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau are seeking a collaborative leader to join the OCEB Towing Initiative Project.

In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will lead and manage the business/operational planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of analytical support program delivery strategies and frameworks within the OPP, and to lead related partnership development and stakeholder consultations processes.


Note - This is an operational position requiring a high level of engagement with the teams and stakeholders. The successful applicant will be required to report a work location in Mississauga to perform their duties in accordance with Ontario Public Service workplace policies.

This intelligence-led approach is comprised of education, enforcement, investigations and public safety.

What can I expect to do in this role?: You will:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of specialists in delivering programs and services, ensuring a positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage and control the operational/program/project or activities budget. Contributes to long term financial and resource planning.
  • Oversee all operational and administrative duties of an Analyst team in the processing of intelligence information pertaining to criminal and public safety investigations.
  • Provide specialized analytical advice and expertise to senior management and staff on program delivery options, recommendations, risks, and issues management strategies and the implementation of strategic planning initiatives.
  • Travel throughout the province as required to oversee the collection of, management and reporting on intelligence pertaining to an investigation.


Knowledge of principles and categories of intelligence and intelligence collection disciplines including intelligence development, investigative techniques, judicial processes, rules of evidence and court procedures will be an asset in this role.
