The impact you'll make:
At Softchoice, as an Associate Support Engineer, your role goes beyond traditional Managed Services. You will play a crucial part in categorizing and identifying events, incidents, changes, and problems to ensure smooth operations for our customers.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Managing incidents in multiple customer environments concurrently.
- Responding promptly to incidents within the Service Level Agreement.
- Recognizing patterns and initiating problem management processes to address root causes.
- Acting swiftly in response to critical incidents.
- Determining software or hardware failures and handling replacements of faulty equipment.
- Executing standard MAC procedures for managed customers.
- Escalating potential issues to vendors as per SLA agreements.
- Reviewing customer environments and preparing Quarterly Business Review reports with improvement recommendations.
- Adhering to established processes.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Experience with Windows Server 2012/R2 and above, VMware.
- Proven work experience in a Network Operations Center or similar setting.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring applications and service ticketing tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 environment.
- Capability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience with ServiceNow is advantageous.
- Bilingual in English and French is beneficial.
- Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA, MCSE, and cloud.
