Hemlane is looking for a Director of Sales to join our rapidly growing company. Our platform changes the way rental properties are managed.

We provide rental owners with the only tech-enabled solution in the space that can deliver a full-service property management experience at a fraction of the cost.

The ideal candidate is an expert at closing SMB SaaS deals, managing and achieving on quotas, hiring A+ players, managing projects, and training the sales team, and ideally has a passion for real estate.

The ideal candidate understands the power of relationships and thinks "beyond the sale" to generate reviews and referrals to build a personal revenue pipeline.

We work in a fast-paced environment, with a high-performing team of engineers, product managers, account executives, SDRs, and operations specialists.

Most of our team is spread between our 2 offices in San Francisco (SOMA) and Calgary, Canada (Beltline) with a few remote team members as well.

Residential property management is a deceptively complex and fascinating business with a diverse ecosystem of users. This market has traditionally been served by low tech solutions and a lot of labor.

Hemlane offers software as a service (SaaS) that sets a new bar for residential management, empowering landlords to manage their rental properties from anywhere.

Hire, develop, and manage the SDR and AE team to consistently meet or exceed quotas.
Plan for the hiring of new sales team members to meet company wide targets.

Lead outbound sales initiatives and be responsible for ensuring we have enough leads for the SDR team to call.

Create and update playbooks, dashboards, and presentations to give the sales team the recipe and means to achieve their targets.

Manage Hubspot operations for the sales team, from sequences to deals.

Improve sales and onboarding processes to increase the attainable customer close rate and deal value generation per sales representative.

Set and manage ambitious, yet attainable sales quotas for everyone on the team.
Set guidelines for discounts and commission policies.
Confirm your team is always maintaining an active pipeline.
Support larger business development initiatives and nurture these relationships.
Influence product development to establish Hemlane as the leading property management platform in the world.

Establish baseline property management domain knowledge, as well as competitive product offerings, and continually improve your knowledge to facilitate your ability to close new opportunities and grow our customer base.

Help define overall pricing and upsell strategies.

Have demonstrated experience hiring and training top performing sales professionals.
Have superior project management skills to track and follow up with leads.
Have a strong working knowledge with Hubspot (our CRM & marketing platform).
Be able to prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction
