Quest Window Systems Inc ("Quest") is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.
Purpose
The Contract Administrator prepares, negotiates, and assess business contracts and ensures legal compliance.
What you will be doing
- Coordinates annual employee training with supervision and management (CPR, WHMIS, AED, First Aid, etc.)
- Assisting with recruiting efforts through ad placement, postings at local job centers and colleges
- Acts as liaison between Company and staffing (temporary or fulltime) service partners, including billing requirements
- Participates in and coordinates the new hire orientation process and ensures all required paperwork and benefits forms are filled out correctly
- Enters new employees into system. Runs queries for information as needed to support delivery partners
- Visible and accessible to all employees and direct them when seeking policy clarification and inquiries to HR Manager and/or HR Generalist
- Maintain facility bulletin boards, front office area, lunch rooms, and plant employee entrances
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with records retention policy and applicable legal requirements.
- Acts as site liaison in troubleshooting employee issues relating to temp and hourly payroll, timekeeping and benefits
- Assists employees with medical leave related questions and paperwork,
- Coordinates the scheduling of shoe mobile, etc.
- Manages employee reward programs
What you will bring along
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required
- 13 years' experience in progressive HR support role in a union environment
- Experience with the staffing process (screening, interviewing, etc.)
- Highly motivated with ability to proactively provide support
- Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/projects in a professional, efficient manner
- Excellent customer service & followthrough skills
- Experience with HRIS & ADP Payroll software
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and strict confidentiality standards
