About the Role:

Responsible for conducting enforcement at designated sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating automated Traffic Enforcement equipment within the Alberta Automated Traffic Enforcement Guidelines.
  • Performing ATE on various days / hours to ensure public safety.
  • Enhancing daily road safety by changing driver behavior.
  • Acting as inoffice liaison between Peace Officers and Processing Department.
  • Performing audit of peace officers infraction pictures to ensure highest quality
  • Using deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations and focusing on attention to detail, observation, taking notes/reporting.
  • Interfacing with and leveraging key stakeholders.
  • Leveraging previous knowledge and expertise to achieve results.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience as a Peace Officer.
  • Demonstrate best practices and knowledge to improve service level.
  • Able to demonstrate conceptual expertise of relevant/applicable theories, practices and procedures.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and direction.
  • Able and willing to work nights and weekends.
