This key role will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Canada Goose's (CG) Global Trade Program with a focus on governance, and risk management, for compliance with regulations in multiple jurisdictions.

Define scope and implement deliverables to enhance global trade processes and systems across Canada Goose and Trade Chain Partners' sites.

Collaborating with stakeholders to drive the adoption of Governance, Risk & Compliance policies, standards, and best practices.
Review and report on partner controls for Cyber Security Management, Sanctions screening and Database management.
Provides risk analysis relevant to ownership, risk and reward, security, financial and operational impacts, from 'Purchase to Payment.'

Leverage existing and establish new partnerships for effective Trade and Customs networks to meet statutory deadlines and support global Supply Chain predictability.

Liaise with internal and external partners on strategic and operational initiatives to drive financial optimization and resource management.
Build exceptional relationships with internal & external stakeholders, achieving compliance, operational excellence, and strategic alignment.
Deliver and maintain global trade standards, systems, supply chain security and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, International Trade, Risk Management
~In-depth knowledge of Customs Systems, Global Trade, and financial regulations
~ Preferred customs certification and a well-established global trade network
~ Advanced knowledge and experience in trade policy, processes, and trade systems.
~ Familiar with Free Trade Agreements, Global Customs operations, WCO, WTO framework
~ Excellent computer literacy and skills in MS Office Suite, advanced timelines Excel, Power BI, Visio.
~ Skilled at identifying gaps and presenting fact-based solutions for Compliance and Traceability.
~ Ability to manage multi-geographical relationships, facilitate meetings and deliver action planning.
~ Ability to work in a multi-national structure, with multiple government agencies and trade chain partners.
