About the Role:

Viral Nation is hiring a
Sales Executive, Tech reporting to the Chief Sales Officer. You will be responsible for the management and growth of top global clients across a variety of diverse industries.

This role will take ownership of expansions of key client relationships, and responsible for continuing to grow our project based and AOR client relationships in an advisory-driven sales cycle.


With an entrepreneurial spirit, we are looking for someone who is collaborative and understands the value in working and learning from others within the company to provide the best experience possible for a client.

Deeply understands the goals, drivers, and needs of others.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying areas of opportunity to solve for a client's business challenges in a manner that aligns with Viral Nation's solutions and capabilities.


You have a strong understanding of the modern marketing mix for businesses and understands the ever-changing market dynamics of the Creator Economy.

You have experience selling SaaS based solutions and understand how to work with your clients to do so.

You must be driven to go above and beyond for the needs of your clients and possess a strong creative and collaborative drive for the job.

You are a leader, a partner, and a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, test, fail, and learn.

What you'll do here:

  • Open and scale net new revenue growth across key account ownership (Vertical growth expectations include; CPG and Non-CPG, Brand Direct and/or client direct, along with National Agency growth and Client Direct partnerships)
  • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges/objectives, and present innovative solutions to client leadership and stakeholders
  • Define strategic business plans for accounts to meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting/lead management, qualifying, presentations, proposals and contract negotiations, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Manage and track client and transactional information, leads, pipeline, reporting, and forecasting through our CRM system
  • Leverage existing network and business contacts to discover and drive opportunities through our sales pipeline
  • Ensure collaboration between Business Development, Strategy and Client Services to scale and grow your book of business with existing clients
  • Be a trusted advisor to new clients, team members and peers through the demonstration and thorough understanding of influencer and social media marketing
  • Guide decisionmaking and provide credible counsel to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to match client needs with new and upcoming products and services from the Viral Nation Ecosystem (Tech and Marketing)
  • Ability to forge and nurture healthy relationships with customers/clients to earn trust and be a source of expertise
  • Continuously keep learning and adapting to industry trends, news, innovations and regulations related to social media and influencer marketing, while sharing the knowledge with your team

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years experience in Business Development / Sales roles (agency experience preferred)
  • SaaS selling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to independently translate highlevel goals into actionable plans
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once with strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Direct clientfacing experience
  • Proven track record of managing a deal cycle from opportunity identification to close
  • Have a bias towards action and are able to thrive in a fastpaced, constantly changing work environment
  • Proficient with Google Drive software (Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
