We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator. We are seeking an independent person with strong administrative and bookkeeping background and experience in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all bookkeeping tasks in Sage 50 Pro software including processing all A/P, A/R, banking, credit cards, ect.
  • Post fixed assets as required
  • Process all government remittances and deductions as required (WSIB, HST, EHT, ect.
  • Post intercompany transactions
  • Ensure accounts are balanced, reconciled and resolve discrepancies.
  • All other accounting related and administrative duties as required, including maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team as needed to complete tasks.
  • Assist in hiring and orientation of all new employees as it pertains to payroll

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be proficient in Sage 50 Pro with full cycle bookkeeping
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Strong financial understanding and background in accounting and financial administration
  • Good communication and attention to detail

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Full cycle Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
