Your Role and Responsibilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Lead the design and implementation of required Rainfocus modules, including Call for Sessions, Voting, Attendee Portal, Session Catalog, Targeted Agendas, Scheduling and post event conference content strategy.
  • Support team members who lead other modules such as Speaker Portal, Registration, Exhibitor Portal, Meetings, etc.
  • Research industryrelated topics and trends to generate ideas for TechXchange Conference implementation.
  • Work with the digital strategy and comms teams to ensure an optimum UI/UX experience with messaging copy that that adheres to brand guidelines and key messaging.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams within the TechXchange Conference extended content team including content specialsts, experiences team, global steering committee, and additional groups responsible for content curation, as well as other teams across IBM.
  • Collaborate in the requirements definition for implementing the Mobile App conference platform Eventbase, both preevent and during event.
  • Contribute to the development of content calendars and schedules.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in large scale event delivery, processes and timelines; content leader; event manager, or similar role.
  • Strong command of the Rainfocus platform for event management.
  • Aptitude for requirements gathering and designing & implementing systems based on those requirements.
  • Excellent command of the English language and grammar.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong research skills and ability to gather information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strategic communication and project management skills and ability to work on simultaneous high visibility projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
