Our client is a premier traffic control company providing solutions for municipalities, infrastructure projects, special events, and private contractors.
They are looking for a Traffic Controller/ TCP to join their team on a permanent basis and are offering between $21 to $23 an hour.
As a Traffic Control Person (TCP), you play an important role in ensuring the safety of your fellow roadworkers, crews, and members of the public on the road.

Using hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic around road construction sites
Communicating with other flaggers using a hand-held radio to direct two-way traffic onto a single-lane
Informing the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.
Appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites
Setting up and Removing all signs, barricades, and traffic cones along construction sites to cordon off certain areas.
Qualifications
No experience needed.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Must be reliable and hard-working.
Traffic Control Person License is an asset.
Sound knowledge of traffic regulations is an asset.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Must have a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle to commute to different job sites.
