The Director of Finance and Corporate Services has a key role in handling the financial, Data, as well as information technology (IT) aspects, Communications, Facilities and Administrative functions of WOCRC. They are a valuable asset to the Executive Director and the management team in these areas. Being part of the Senior Leadership team, their involvement is vital in the overall management of the Centre and in engaging with external groups/agencies/funders to ensure effective operations.
Job Details:
- Position: Director of Finance and Corporate Services
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Benefits: 4 weeks of vacation leave, Personal leave, Cost-share insurance and health coverage, HOOPP pension
- Salary Range: $94,275 to $106,168 annually
- Language Requirement: Bilingualism and proficiency in other languages are advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient financial processes in alignment with Board policies
- Maintain the integrity of financial systems and accounting records
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance
- Prepare financial reports and oversee audits
- Collaborate with management on financial planning and budgeting
- Manage IT activities and ensure data security
- Oversee Communication, Facilities, and Administrative functions
- Supervise respective staff members
Human Resource Management:
- Address significant team HR matters
- Draft job descriptions and facilitate recruitment processes
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide support for professional development
- Ensure effective communication and team functioning
Requirements and Skills:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) with expertise in financial management
- Degree in business or public administration
- Extensive experience in non-profit financial management
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in IT systems and human resource management
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Fluency in English required, French proficiency is an asset
