As the inventory coordinator of Laurentide, you will be ensuring the timely and error-free purchase of critical industrial components that ensure our customer's uptime and safety.

You will be responsible for inventory purchases and replenishment, as well as act as the custodian of the quality of our inventory data.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Inventory

  • Execute Laurentide's demand planning and forecasting process for inventory parts
  • Report and monitor inventory levels for availability
  • Perform and facilitate inventory counts with warehouse supervisor
  • Find and propose improvements to further business objectives.
Inventory Planning and Replenishment

  • Meet with stakeholders of product categories to align on stocking priorities.
  • Adjust inventory min and max levels to meet business objectives.
  • Execute replenishment by placing stock orders with suppliers and follow up and address any discrepancies.
Master Data

  • Identify inventory inaccuracies to provide effective solutions to the team.
  • Update pricing and inventory ID's to ensure integrity of data
  • Ensure the integrity, and accuracy of data on part creation, audit for discrepancy and propose and implement solutions with the product category stakeholders.
Logistics

  • Provide backup support during vacation time for Laurentide's logistics associate, which involves handling daytoday transport requests and preparation of shipping labels and other general tasks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 1 year in a Supply Chain or Customer Service role including supplier and transportation responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and organization skills.
  • Bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
