**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**

**Progressive Business Development (Sales)**:

- Seeks opportunities to provide service value to customers that results in incremental business activity for Laurentide;
- Confidently and openly discuss money with clients;
- Maximizes total revenue (maximizes available site maintenance budget);
- Maximizes the extent of all upcoming planned outages;
- Secures client approval for all additional activities;
- Develops programs with customers that increase revenue between scheduled shutdowns.

**Perform pre-maintenance activities (Planning)**:

- Arrange pre-shutdown meetings with sites;
- Probes and documents all assets of a given site;
- Leverages tools and reports to maximize scope of work;
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions;
- Manages and recommends customer spare parts (valves, parts, etc.);
- Identifies labour duration for customer maintenance projects;
- Takes note of equipment needed outside of standard repair needs, i.e. cranes, scaffolding, etc.;
- Develops the scope of work for all upcoming shutdowns (parts, spares, services);
- Maintaining an up-to-date calendar of upcoming planned outages;
- Develops and recommends improvements for the life cycle of each assigned asset;
- Develops and implements a valve criticality rating system and list;
- Develops a performance and degradation limit on each valve;
- Regularly makes proactive improvement recommendations (technical context);
- Assistance in the use of new diagnostic tools and methods;
- Assists customers with the standardization of maintenance documentation;
- Develops and implements a valve change tracking system;
- Recommends inventory reductions or increases;
- Gathers information to prepare a complete project quote for the client.

**Coordinates the scope of work for maintenance activities after receipt of purchase orders from customers (Execution)**:

- Keeping site assets up to date in our tracking system;
- Records all changes in our tools and with the client;
- Plan resources (technicians, mobile unit, LAD) with Laurentide's internal team to execute the upcoming mandate;
- Provides Laurentide planning for spare valve parts and needs.

**After-outage activities (Post)**:

- Arrange post-outage meeting with sites;
- Provide constructive client feedback to internal Laurentide team members as part of continuous improvement;
- Document and calculate annual savings;
- Begins discussions with the customer on scheduling the next shutdown or maintenance event;
- Plans customer activities and actions between stops (i.e. AVK, inventory optimization, training, etc.)).

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
- Bachelor’s or equivalent technical diploma;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment and in plant maintenance;
- Fluency in French and English;
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently within the region that matches the scope of the business development opportunity;
- Good knowledge of industrial processes;
- Good knowledge of good maintenance practices in industrial plants;
- Ability to mobilize a multidisciplinary technical team that ensures the execution of a service mandate;
- A developed sense of the client's business, goals and operations;
- Results-oriented and shows perseverance in the face of obstacles;
- Understands the value proposition of selling services;
- Good knowledge of local competitors' solutions, value propositions and market strategies.
