Project Overview:

We are part of an integrated team appointed as the Delivery Partner for the Ontario Line Subway (OLS) Project in Toronto, Ontario. The project entails the design build, operations, and maintenance of infrastructure and rail systems for multiple stations and kilometers of new alignment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Joint Corridor Senior Planner to support the Lower Don Valley Civil contract (EW-3), coordinating with other key project areas. Responsibilities include overseeing schedule development, maintenance, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

The Joint Corridor Senior Planner will:

  • Support schedule assessments
  • Review baseline schedules
  • Provide analysis and reporting during construction

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead program-level schedule activities
  • Manage milestone schedules and closeout monitoring
  • Ensure schedule compliance and integration among contractors
  • Analyze construction operations and productivity
  • Support project team with schedule expertise
  • Develop bid evaluation criteria
  • Coordinate manpower requirements
  • Direct problem-solving activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or possess relevant project controls experience in the industry. A minimum of 10 years' experience is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in planning heavy civil construction in urban settings
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling functions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Expertise in managing heavy civil projects
