We are unified by our purpose of helping people to succeed. So, when you become part of our team, you also become part of the personal connection that strengthens the relationship people have with Xplor products.

Job Description

Join our People Team as a Talent Development Specialist to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers' experiences.

Reporting into the Organizational Development Lead, you will help us with projects related to employee development, performance management, competency frameworks, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. You'll get direction and input from the Organizational Development Lead, who oversees learning and development, performance management, and employee experience surveys. With this guidance, you'll develop and deliver programs that enhance the development, engagement, and retention of Xplor's people. Some of the other responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating effective training sessions. Creating engaging follow-up opportunities to reinforce learning. Collaborating with key stakeholders on performance management discussions and supporting the design and delivery of performance reviews. Promoting employee growth by implementing effective processes that align development plans with e-learning courses and on-the-job experiences. Supporting the engagement survey process by assisting with assessing trends, identifying gaps, analyzing outcomes, and creating recommendations for action plans. Assisting with compensation programs, including merit, bonuses, and rewards & recognition.

- This is a fixed-term contract position for approximately 6-9 months.

- The average base salary pay range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour

Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

We are looking for curious and empathetic people. We also love to hear from people who are motivated by meaningful work, resonate with our four core values, have a positive outlook, are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive working in an ever-evolving and complex environment. We are inspired by meeting big picture thinkers and doers, people who can be both tactical and strategic, aim high and put people first in everything they do.

We're looking for a switched-on, versatile team player who can:

Translate people strategy into practical solutions that foster career and personal growth. Works well cross-culturally. We have Xplorers in 14 time zones and many countries; you'll need to build effective stakeholder relationships virtually to get things done. Plans, delivers, and measures. We move fast, so you'll need to quickly figure out the right direction and crack on. We like to measure everything we do and learn from it to keep improving. Leans into any challenge. We're a lean team, so no two days are the same. You'll need to prioritize ruthlessly and quickly assess a big workload to make the right calls. Is part of a high-performing team. There's a huge amount of opportunity in this role—you won't face it alone. You'll be supported by the rest of the comms team and the wider team—and in return, you'll be cheering them on and jumping in to help when needed. At Xplor, we're always there for each other.

Your experience

We'd like you to have 2+ years of experience in organizational development, talent management, succession planning, performance management, competency models, learning and development, or a combination of these areas along with general HR experience.
