Overview

We are looking for a well-organized and experienced Community Amenity Manager to lead the operations at McKinley Beach. The perfect candidate should have a solid property management background, with 5-10 years of relevant experience, and be skilled at supervising a small team. This role involves direct engagement with residents, stakeholders, and the public, demanding exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of McKinley Beach community amenities.
  • Manage a small team of support staff and coordinate their activities.
  • Serve as the main contact for residents and attend to their concerns and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with community regulations and bylaws.
  • Arrange and lead community meetings and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on community operations and finances.
  • Develop and execute community improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle conflict resolution and enforce community policies.
  • Monitor and manage the community budget.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a small team.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Advanced financial literacy; experienced and confident in budget creation, monitoring, and execution.
  • Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Training in Interior Health Association public pool standards is a plus.
