Communications Manager


Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Communications Manager with 7+ years of Communications and Writing experience, enterprise exposure, and ideally some banking knowledge to place at our client, a large North American bank.


Client: Top Global Bank

Contract: 1 year rolling contract

Location: Toronto, Downtown Core


Responsibilities:

  • Developing Communication Strategies, which involves designing comprehensive communication plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audiences, determine key messages, and select appropriate communication channels.
  • Manage Content Creation & Presentations build-outs for QBRs, new project launches, projects updates etc.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of various communication materials that involves writing, editing, and reviewing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the line of business goals
  • Create internal communications and develop strategies to enhance internal communication processes within the organization, ensuring that employees are well-informed about line of business updates and initiatives. This involves, creating employee newsletters, or managing internal communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with various lines of businesses within the organization to ensure alignment and integration of initiative efforts


Key Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in Communications or Technical Writing positions
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience written QBRs, PPTs, Newsletters etc.
  • Understanding of content design and ability to work within Microsoft Suites
  • Ability to meet and collaborate with multiple teams within the line of business to gather required information
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
