Job Description:

The Partner Ecosystem Strategist serves as the primary Technology Partner Program liaison to Rockwell Automation's Corporate Development and Operating Segments. The objective of this role is to identify and enable a bestinclass ecosystem aligned with RA Strategic Growth Initiatives (SGIs). The incumbent is responsible for cross functional coordination of prospective partner identification, initial engagement, discovery, and partnership formulation.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective partners aligned to RA SGIs that have been identified in collaboration with Corp Dev and Business Units stakeholders.
  • Support the RA Business Strategy Review (BSR) processes a direct contributor and indirect advisory role
  • Initiate contact and serve as primary RA representative for identified partner prospects.
  • Identify and define focus areas for new partnerships aligned with RA objectives.
  • Define vision, multihorizon objectives, and gotomarket for new partnerships identifying specific areas of
  • (co) innovation/development
  • (co) marketing
  • (co) selling
  • Identify and engage cross functional RA stakeholders such as Business, Legal, Sourcing, Industry Marketing, Global Portfolio Engineering, and Sales as necessary to support partnership formation and operationalization.
  • Model and track the direct and indirect financial impact of new partnerships.
  • Create joint business plans inclusive of technical roadmaps with approved funding from the appropriate businesses and partner.
  • Define and initiate the governance model for new partnerships.
  • Coordinate joint marketing and sales activities and programs with partners.
  • Create and manage joint target account selling by appropriate market segments.
  • Support new and existing partnerships managed by the Technology Partner Program Team at various stages in the partner life cycle
Commercial Skills:

Assess markets and opportunities and build long term strategies to accelerate growth including build, partner, buy analysis, joint value propositions, and go to market plans. Define and sell complex global customer projects where team selling is necessary with multiple sales locations, Partners or Alliances, and Systems Integrators. Create and deliver presentations to diverse audiences from technical to business management to senior management within Rockwell Automation and PartnersBasic Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering/Business or equivalent
Good understanding of technical, business operations and legal implications required. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in the industrial automation, information, and software marketplace A background in Sales or Product Management is a necessary part of this position. Familiarity with RA Operating Segments, portfolio, competitive landscape, and understanding of markets and channels globally. Demonstrated track record of successful revenue contribution and sales experience through indirect and direct channels of enterprise information technology including software (SaaS), hardware, and services.
