Reporting to the Production Training Excellence Lead, the HSSE trainer will, implement HSSE standards by initiating, developing, and execution of training and programs to build capability and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency in line with the Safety aspiration for the asset team and contractors.

Provide HSSE training in alignment with overall training strategy for Asset and contractor as subject matter expertise.

Lead and manage the documentation, assessment, and certifications of employees and contractors including FLBM assessment.

This role requires that you:

  • legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent , or valid work permit)
  • completion at the undergraduate level with a specialty focus in adult education or an undergraduate level with a certification in adult education or workplace learning.
  • minimum of 8 years of oil and gas experience.
  • of 10 years of work in Plant/industrial HSE.
  • Knowledge of work safe BC
  • sample of training and or classroom-based courseware.
