We are currently looking for a
Service Training Program Manager at our Corporate Office in Ajax, ON*Under the direction of the Manager, After Sales Training you will provide primary support to the overall management of the Volkswagen and Audi Canadian Academy including all administration, coordination and project management aspects for the development and delivery of the After Sales training program. This includes support for the day-to-day operations of the Technical and Non-Technical After Sales Academies for both brands as assigned.

This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the Ajax office

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and support assigned Volkswagen Group Canada (VGCA) brands with development of training paths, curriculum, scheduling and delivery of all types of learning programs delivered through the Academy.
  • Gather training content requirements from VGCA brands, dealer and outside sources through a detailed discovery process.
  • Provide support to the Manager, After Sales Training during all aspects of vendor projects including sourcing/Request for Proposals (RFP), contractual implementation and transitional phases.
  • Assist the Manager in the coordination, facilitation and followup of all vendor related day to day operational activities and requirements.
  • Aid in the determination of business opportunities for all related vendor programs.
  • Provide direction to the Group Academy Training Support Lead as required.
  • Work with suppliers and VGCA Brands on tracking issues, problem verification and resolution for escalated issues.
  • Participate in all vendor and industry related meetings, events, planning sessions and international initiatives as required.
  • Create and coordinate all communications related to training curriculum and certification to the VW and Audi field operations teams and dealers as assigned.
  • Schedule all training course offerings in collaboration with the brands and the Academy manager and conflict manage against other initiatives.
  • Provide through the vendor or develop as required with the Group Training Support Lead all necessary reporting for internal and external clients.
  • Review and reconcile reports from vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Liaise and coordinate client interface, manage client/brand relationship and complete postmeeting reports.
  • Create project development plan and critical paths. Assist in the development of path and execution for quality, time, scope changes and budget.
  • Support the budget goals of the After Sales Training Manager including researching quality suppliers, supplier options and costeffective solutions.
  • Coordinate track and report operational activity with Training Consultants/Suppliers.
  • Use the aforementioned discovery information to support the development of the annual certification program in conjunction with an annual certification launch.
  • Scheduling and management of After Sales training offerings by establishing a proper dealer network needs assessment in order to support an annual certification launch.
  • Research, evaluate and implement projects as determined by the After Sales Training Manager including fulfillment of preestablished project milestones

Qualifications

  • College Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Learning Management, Education or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Project Planning/Management PMP designation
  • 3+ years in training fulfillment or functions
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Detail oriented; good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge/experience in project assignments and/or participation in training provided for same
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work independently
  • Leadership skills with ability to hold others accountable
  • Project management skills including ability to create and manage budgets and critical paths
  • Presentation skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of process improvement principles
  • Ability to analyze critical data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • French language, German language is an asset
