Key Account Manager, Western Canada (Natural Health Food, Remote)**Our client, a Canadian Natural Health Beverage Consumer Goods Leader, is looking to hire an experienced
Key Account Manager, Western Canada on a
Permanent, Full-Time basis to grow their business.

This is a
Remote, home-office role in which the incumbent must live in the
Vancouver or Calgary area.


Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Key Account Manager, Western Canada will be responsible for managing and developing sales in their assigned region and to provide sustainable long-term growth for the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow profitable sales for assigned territory, in line with company strategy.
  • Develop a weekly, monthly, and annual sales strategy in line with the annual planning process of the company.
  • Be cognizant of regional market trends, ensuring these trends are reflected in strategies implemented and solutions offered.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customer base.
  • Forecast demand for your territory based on historical performance and anticipated account demands.
  • P&L responsibility with accountability for planning, execution, and approval of the annual Trade Spending Budget.
  • Build the annual Revenue and Profit Budget goals for the annual Budget.
  • Provide key insights and input into the company's longterm growth strategies.

Requirements:

  • Postsecondary degree or equivalent in business and/or marketing.
  • 3+ years of National Account Management or Key Account Management experience from a Consumer Goods company.
  • Experience in Natural Health Foods, an asset.
  • Experience leading retailers such as SaveonFoods, Federated Coop, Safeway, and Natural Channel Accounts.
  • Experience leading broker partners and distributors, an asset.
  • Experience data mining POS & A.C. Nielsen.
  • Previous sales finance experience with P&L's and managing trade spend.
  • Experience leading Joint Business Plans & Business Reviews.
  • Flawless execution of the 4P's (Presence, Placement, Pricing & Promotion)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 especially in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time to visit Customers.

  • Strong leadership skills and can also be an effective team member.
  • Experience in strategic and operational planning aligning to outcome development, strategy execution, accountability, and performance analysis/management.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
