As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a hard-working, experienced, and dependable individual to assist in managing day-to-day accounting and support our restaurant operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform credit card reconciliation ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle cashouts and maintain meticulous records.
  • Process Accounts Payable (APs) efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable processes, following up on outstanding payments.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial data entry and reporting.
  • Prepare various financial statements including P&Ls, GMR, yearend statements, and Financial Statements.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to financial matters.
  • Deposit checks and manage bank runs and distributions.
  • Maintain petty cash and ensure proper documentation and accountability.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations regularly to maintain accuracy.
  • Efficiently manage invoice processing and ensure timely payments.
  • Undertake any other financial duties as required to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in full cycle bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure due to the dynamic and growing nature of the environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Drive, and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to those with bookkeeping experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
  • Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma in Accounting, or related field.
  • Detailoriented, expert multitasker, and strong communication skills.
